How it works
Pick the moment. Set the rules. Prepare the response.
Soundpays connects a selected live moment to an experience inside your app — for the fans who qualify.
- Moment
- Presence
- Rules
- Experience
- Outcome
The signal
The moment carries
its own key.
A Soundpays signal travels with the audio already carrying the game. When the selected moment happens, your app recognizes it — in the venue or while watching live.
- Already in the game audio
- No QR code or code to type.
- In the venue or on live broadcast
- The same moment can reach both environments.
- Nothing new for the fan to learn
- The experience happens inside the app they already use.
Links travel.
Moments don’t.
The fan journey
One moment.
One clear next move.
See how a live moment becomes a relevant fan experience — and what gets recorded along the way.
Moment
The game creates the reason to respond.
A selected live moment happens. In this example, #9 scores the winning goal.
Presence + rules
The moment establishes the live context. Your rules decide who qualifies for what comes next.
Venue or live broadcast. Member or guest. One section or everyone.
Experience
The right experience appears inside the app while the moment still matters.
#9 scored the winner. His jersey is now 20% off.
Action
The fan chooses what to do.
Soundpays records the action separately from whatever happens after it.
Outcome
What happened next gets its own record.
A purchase is different from a shop visit. A redemption is different from a claim.
The rules
Rules as specific
as your data.
Presence puts a fan in the moment.
Your rules decide the rest.
Live rule example
Home-team win
- If Moment Home-team win
- And Environment In venue
- And Audience Season-ticket holders
- And Section Lower bowl
- And Location Home market
- And Channel Team app
- Then Unlock Partner reward
- Limit Limit First 500
- Sharing Sharing Verified fan only
Eligible experience
Partner reward unlocked
For the first 500 qualifying season-ticket holders in the lower bowl.
Home-team win → in-venue season-ticket holders → lower bowl → first 500 → partner reward.
If your data can describe it,
a rule can use it.
Rules are defined per activation using the data and systems available to you.
Straight answers
The details belong to your game.
It can. Soundpays can connect to your existing control, data, or event workflow through APIs so selected moments can be activated automatically. They can also remain operator-controlled. You decide which moments matter and how they enter the workflow.
A successful detection tells us that the device recognized the Soundpays signal associated with that live moment, within the validated range of the speaker or audio environment carrying it. That gives the moment a specific context — including which environment the signal came through.
Presence is its own record. It is not the same thing as an action or conversion.
As specific as the data available to the activation.
Soundpays is designed to integrate with the systems you already use, so rules can draw on connected audience, ticketing, loyalty, location, section, channel, limits, sharing, or other available data.
If the data can be made available through the integration, it can inform the rule.
Soundpays is designed to integrate into existing apps, including apps managed by third-party providers.
The exact implementation depends on your app, infrastructure, permissions, and the experience you want to create.
We work through that with your digital and technical teams during the technical assessment.
The app does not launch itself from a closed state.
The fan either has the app in the foreground or activates the live mode required for the experience.
The exact app state and fan flow are defined for the specific implementation.
Fans give microphone permission when they choose to participate in listening-based experiences.
iOS and Android handle permissions differently, but Soundpays uses the same privacy-first standard across both.
Depending on the experience, microphone access can be enabled for the live session, or the fan can use a tap-to-claim flow instead of continuous listening.
Yes, provided the audio path and supporting infrastructure are compatible with the deployment.
Soundpays is designed for venue, broadcast, and streaming environments.
We validate the specific signal chain and technical requirements during assessment and testing before launch.
Yes. Soundpays has demonstrated synchronized experiences at professional sports venues.
The live audio moment provides the timing reference, allowing participating devices to respond from the same event rather than relying on each phone to independently time the experience.
Soundpays supports eight core fan actions:
- Claim
- Shop
- Join
- Vote
- Play
- Watch
- Keep
- Go
It can also connect the moment to third-party or custom-built experiences.
If you already have commerce, content, rewards, loyalty, or another destination, Soundpays can integrate with that rather than requiring it to be replaced.
The exact measurement plan is defined during technical assessment based on the systems and destinations connected to the activation.
At a minimum, Soundpays can show how fans responded to different moments and environments.
Where connected systems provide the data, presence, eligibility, actions, redemptions, purchases, and other outcomes can remain separate records rather than being rolled into one engagement number.
The duration of an activation is yours to define.
Once the live moment is present and the device detects it, Soundpays can respond in less than a second.
Timing requirements are validated against the actual app, venue, broadcast, or streaming environment before deployment.
Soundpays uses a proprietary confidence-scoring methodology designed to distinguish valid detections and reduce false activations.
Detection behavior, thresholds, fallback states, and the expected fan experience are tested for the actual deployment before game day.
You do.
Soundpays fits into the workflow you choose.
Moments can be manually controlled, automated through connected systems and APIs, or configured around the operating model that works for your team.
It depends on the app, infrastructure, integrations, and amount of customization required.
A deployment requiring little customization can be relatively light; more complex integrations take longer.
Bring us your target date and requirements, and we will scope the work against that timeline and tell you clearly what is achievable.
